The Effects of Oklahoma’s Pre-K Program on Hispanic Children

This article presents data from William Gormley’s evaluation of the Tulsa pre-K program. The author finds that Hispanic students whose parents speak Spanish at home benefited the most from a high-quality pre-K program, with substantial improvements in pre-reading, pre-writing, and pre-math skills for Hispanic students overall.
